SWAY - Engagement

Engagement team and video editor

Being part of this team involved the ideation of relatable, targeted and feasible marketing and engagement strategies. The concepts generated were required to deliver a short but distinct and compelling message in order to compete in the modern market. My responsibilities also encompassed bringing these concepts to fruition through graphic design and video editing.

SWAY Launch Trailer

As a launch trailer, this video has to be short, punchy and deliver an exciting taste of the brand identity. 

Due to the nature of the video, its length does not permit in depth explanation of the product. Instead, key points from the product concept are presented to provoke excitement. The video does flow through these points quickly however a balance has been struct between maintaining a good pace for an energetic attention grabbing feel and keeping the information digestible. The viewer is also expected to see the advert more than once within the marketing campaign, making the digest of information easier. This video effectively introduces the branding and key points of the product, 'social music' 'with friends & artists' 'anywhere in the world' 'SWAY' 'Download SWAY now' in an exciting manner, paving the way for a more informative video about the core concept. Created by myself using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, and Motion Array.

Promotion video

SWAY was looking for a way to promote new songs from artists on the platform. I experimented with an immersive feel trying to convey the key elements without simply spelling them out. Here is what I produced.

Genre highlight

This video was born from a desire to show of genres of music that the user may not have seen before, or may be interested in. This video was therefore more of a template that different footage and music can be slotted into.

Instagram engagement

To gain presence and interactions on socials, Instagram posts involving the brand identity needed to be created. I laid out the design simplistically to accentuate the key colours and style of the brand.
